Golareh has been a freelance writer for many years. Her writing experience dates back to the mid-90’s when she worked as a freelance reporter covering the politics and crime beats for local newspapers such as The North York Mirror and The Barrie Examiner in Ontario, Canada. During her years in grad school, she wrote short stories for The Iranian, and wrote the award-winning article Ancient Faith, Modern War for San Jose State’s Access Magazine which earned her the Gold Circle Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. In 2017, Golareh wrote and illustrated the children’s book Gogi and Mogi Go To The Garden which received positive reviews by Blue Ink and Foreword Review. More recently, Golareh has shared her passion for wellness and mindfulness with the vast audience of Thrive Global as a contributor.
